Raman Reti Gokul Story
Raman Reti is a place situated on the banks of the river Yamuna in Gokul, where Lord Shri Krishna used to come with his friends to graze cows. According to mythology, it is believed that when Lord Shri Krishna brought his cows from Gokul for grazing here, he used to play in the soil with his cowherd friends. There is a Raman Sarovar near the temple of Raman Reti, about which it is said that Shri Krishna used to take a bath in this place after playing in the soil here.
There is such a belief about Raman Reti that no matter how much you roll in the soil here, this soil does not come with you; whatever soil sticks to your body here, it falls off here.
