History of Jhadi Wale Hanuman Ji Temple
According to mythology, when Lord Shri Ram had to go to Lanka to take Mata Sita and punish Ravana for his deeds, Ram ji was building a bridge to go to Lanka, and Hanuman ji was assigned the task of bringing stones. Accordingly, Hanuman ji was bringing stones from everywhere.
One day, when Hanuman ji was returning with stones from the Himalayas, he got a message from Ram ji that now there is no need for stones, so you should come back quickly. At that time, Hanuman ji had the son of Drona mountain in his hand, with whom he was going towards the bridge, and when Hanuman ji came to know that now there was no need for stones, he left that stone there and started going.
When the son of Dron Parvat came to know about this, he became very upset and said that now neither do I belong to my mountain nor am I of any use to Lord Ram. Thinking this, he became very sad and asked Hanuman ji to take him with him. But Hanuman ji had received orders that now he did not want the stone, so he could not take it with him. But he promised that he would definitely tell this problem to Lord Ram and ask him some solution for it. Saying this, Hanuman ji left from there.
When Hanuman ji came back after meeting Ram ji, he told him that in Dwapar Yuga, when God comes in the form of Shri Krishna, he will worship you and from then on you will be known as Govardhan mountain, which will be worshiped forever. Hanuman ji did not believe this and said How can I believe that this will happen.
He asked Hanuman Ji to stay here and sit on him, then he would believe him. Then Hanuman Ji said that he cannot do this because when Lord Krishna comes in his incarnation, he will worship you, then how can I sit on you. Then Hanuman Ji said that he will stay here near you in the Kira bushes of Yamuna.
After that, Hanuman Ji made his home here and started living here, after that his name became Jhadi Wale Hanuman Ji. Earlier, there was a small temple here which was surrounded by bushes from all sides. Now, there is a grand temple at this place where devotees come every day for darshan.
What is inside the Jhadi Wale Hanuman Ji Temple
Earlier, there was only a statue of Hanuman ji Maharaj and a small temple in Jhadi Wale Hanuman Ji Mandir, but at present this temple has taken a huge form. The construction of the temple was completed in the year 2014. The temple was built in a very beautiful way.
There is a big gate outside the temple premises, and in front of the gate is a temple of Hanuman ji. While moving towards the temple, there is a beautiful garden on both sides in which various types of plants and flowers are planted. There are water fountains on the right side of the temple, and behind them is a huge, beautiful statue of Lord Shiva.
As soon as you enter the temple, there is a Garbha Griha where the age-old idol of Jhadi Wale Hanuman Ji is situated, and this idol is in the same place where it was earlier. There is a place to do Parikrama around the Garbha, which must be done. On the first floor of the temple, there are photos of Lord Ram and his entire family, and there are also many paintings and artifacts of Hanuman Ji Maharaj.
