Are Braj, Brajbhoomi and Brajdham the same?

Yes Brajdham is called Brajbhoomi and Brajbhoomi is called Brajdham, the shorter name of Brajdham is Braj, some people call it Braj and some call it Brajbhoomi or Brajdham but the meaning of the words is the same.

Mero Brajdham covers a large area spanning the modern states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan. The heart of Brajbhoomi is centered around the city of Mathura, which is traditionally believed to be the birthplace of Krishna. Other important places under Brajbhoomi include Vrindavan, Govardhan, Barsana, Nandgao,n and Gokul.

There will always be a shortage of time to visit all the temples of Braj Dham, but at least 5 days should be enough to visit all the temples of Braj. All the major places of Braj can be visited in these 5 days.

Brajdham can be visited in any month, but since Brajdham is in the northern part of India, the best time to visit Braj is from October to March. Because Braj experiences extreme heat in summers and extreme cold in winters.

The journey to Brajdham can be started from any religious place, but whenever we reach Brajdham, we mostly reach Mathura. So it is better if the journey is started from Mathura, the birthplace of Shri Krishna.

When Lord Shri Krishna was born, his father Vasudev took him to Gokul to the house of Maa Yashoda and Nandbaba so that he could stay safe there. But when the atrocities of his uncle Kansa started increasing, Nandbaba built his second house in Nandgaon for the safety of Shri Krishna, and after the age of 11, he started living in Nandgaon with Shri Krishna and Maa Yashoda.

Although the entire Brajdham is my favourite place, Barsana and Vrindavan are my most favourite places. Barsana is the place where you get a different kind of peace after seeing Radharani. I get lost in Vrindavan. I get a unique joy after seeing the devotees and crazy people named Radha here.
