History of Birla Mandir Mathura

Birla Mandir Mathura was built by Jugal Kishore Birla of the Birla family in the year 1946 in memory of his parents. Another name of Birla Mandir Mathura is Geeta Mandir and there is a big pillar of Geeta inside the temple.

Birla Mandir’s are built all over the country and there is a chain of these temples and Birla Mandir of Mathura is a part of that chain, Birla Mandir is at a very peaceful place and spending time with family here and seeing the temple premises gives a different experience.

Lord Shri Laxminarayan is seated inside Birla Mandir and thousands of devotees come to visit this temple every day, there is a pillar of Bhagavad Gita and chariot and many idols in the temple, which one can get the good fortune of seeing.

After visiting Birla Mandir Mathura, you can also go to Vrindavan situated nearby where you will find devotees immersed in the devotion of Lord Shri Krishna and Radharani and can also take advantage of visiting all the temples of Vrindavan.

The distance from Birla Mandir to Vrindavan is approximately 6 kilometers and it takes about 25 minutes to cover this distance and the fare may be around 100 rupees.

Mathura Junction To Birla Mandir Mathura Distance

Mathura Junction to Birla Mandir Mathura distance is about 6 km and Birla Mandir is located on Mathura – Vrindavan Road, it takes about 20 minutes to cover this distance and the fare may be around 50 rupees.

To reach Birla Mandir from Mathura Junction station, an auto or e-rickshaw facility is available from outside the station itself, you can reach Birla Mandir by booking any vehicle at your convenience.
