Day 1- Shailputri

Day 2 – Brahmacharini

The fifth day of Chaitra Navratri honors Skandamata, the mother of Lord Kartikeya, the god of war. Skandamata rides a lion and carries her son Kartikeya on her lap. Skandamata represents maternal love, strength, and protection. Goddess Skandamata is worshiped for blessings of wisdom, prosperity, and courage, especially in motherhood and family life.
Day 6 – Katyayani
On the sixth day of Chaitra Navratri, Goddess Katyayani is worshipped, who was a fierce warrior who defeated the demon Mahishasura. She is often depicted riding a lion, armed with weapons and radiating fierce energy. Maa Katyayani is one of the most powerful forms of Goddess Durga. Day 7 – Kalratri

She is believed to have attained this form after performing intense penance to get rid of the black complexion she had acquired during her previous incarnations. She is depicted riding a white bull, wearing white clothes, and radiating purity. Goddess Mahagauri is a symbol of purity and peace. Day 9 – SiddhidatriÂ
The ninth and last day of Chaitra Navratri is dedicated to Goddess Siddhidatri, the giver of siddhis (spiritual powers). She is believed to bless her devotees with knowledge, success, and divine powers. Siddhidatri is also a form of Durga, who is worshiped by gods and sages to attain wisdom.
